In a not so distant future, agrochemicals have become a normal practice. The mining industry created toxic wastes, combined to pollution they proved fatal to agriculture. Soon, the first mutated crops unleashed havoc. Water was no longer enough for them, they wanted a protein-rich, juicy steak dinner. We tried to give them our politicians instead of steak, but they just wouldn't eat them… it made them sick.

Though we were tough, not to be frightened by zombie potatoes. We learned to tame our mutated vegetables. The farming profession went from a peaceful activity to a very risky albeit lucrative profession. Those who can sow, water and feed the best crops will become rich.

It's your turn to go to the fields. The Mutant Crops are waiting... will you dare to harvest them?

In Mutant Crops you're playing as a farmer who is seeking riches farming some of the most ravenous and dangerous crops the world has ever seen. Mutated from decades of pollution, these aren't your everyday vegetables.

In this short, simple and fun worker placement game you'll be placing your meeples on spaces in order to perform their actions such as gaining resources, purchasing crops, watering your plants, feeding them the steaks they're craving and competing with other farmers for another space on the board.

You're collecting resources: seeds, water and steak dinners. Seeds are necessary to purchase plants, and water/meat are necessary to nourish your crops to provide the best return. Crops are not worth anything until they've been watered and/or fed.

The farmer who has the most money at the end of the game can laugh their way to the bank - and the victory circle.

The game is the ideal filler for worker placement fans who want to have a quick game that still challenge their skills. It's a great introductory game for new players on euro-style games, and plays perfect with kids.

NOTE: PNP Demo and Rulebook aren't final. Both will be improved based on your feedback (Rules) and on stretch goals (Deluxe PNP).
