Building a city is no easy task. You would think so many races working to toward a common goal might make things easier, but everyone is just out for themselves, and too many dissonant voices cause only chaos.

Still, building the legendary city of Gloomhaven is the task before you. Can your race use the resources of your opponents effectively enough to hold the most prestige when the city is complete? Can you leverage your influence and construct the building projects that will benefit your race the most?

Founders of Gloomhaven is a competitive 2 hour city building game for 1-4 players. It is not an expansion to Gloomhaven, but a stand-alone Euro project that features a unique mix of tile placement, action selection, hand management, worker placement, and blind bidding.

In Founders of Gloomhaven, you will have control of a number of resources that you can place on the board as tiles.

You must combine your own resource tiles with those of your opponents to create more advanced resource tiles, and then deliver these resources to prestige buildings to earn points.

This is all accomplished through your decks of action cards. On your turn, you can play a card to take a variety of actions:

• Trade: Placing resource tiles or buying access to others' resources.
• Recruit: Hiring adviser cards to add to your deck, giving you more influence and extra powerful actions.
• Upgrade: Building advanced resources to increase your income and scoring opportunities.
• Construct: Erecting personal buildings like houses and bridges, which will give you more control over the board state.

You can also call a vote, which will retrieve all the cards you have played, but doing so will allow all other players to collect income, and then it will trigger a blind vote on which new prestige building gets placed on the board and where it gets placed.

Prestige buildings offer the major scoring opportunities in the game, so you would do well to control the vote whenever possible by spending influence, making sure the building which scores the resources you control is built.

Cela semble intéressant, et c'est vraiment pas cher pour un KS (seulement 49$US shipping inclus), mais cela semble trop lourd et trop long et peut-être pas assez bon à 2 joueurs pour moi donc je vais passer.

pareil que Cerberus777. Le prix avec shipping inclus semble vraiment intéressant mais je ne suis pas attirée visuellement et pareil, j'ai un doute sur le jeux pour 2 joueurs uniquement.

 

Mon porte-monnaie s'en porte bien.

J'étais super excité par le projet quand heavy cardboard en a parlé puis j'ai vu le preview de man va meeple et là turn off total. Isaac n'a même pas l'air à avoir du fun en parlant de son projet pi mvsm qui sont d'habitude super enthousiastes sur tout ce qu'ils essaient sont crissement réservés. Je m'attendais à plus. Je passe. P-e retail ou plus tard dans la campagne.

Pourquoi est-ce que je suis sceptique sur les visuels mais que je suis attiré par 18xx? Des fois je me comprends plus. Anyway je me demande si la retail va être aussi rare que gloomhaven.

J'ai cancellé le mien et je vais le remettre si ça change, mais sinon, je vais investir cet argent dans l'insert Broken Token pour Gloomhaven je pense bien.
